Jenny Mischley
Owner, Nail Technician
- Jenny has been in the industry for over 23 years. She started her career path after moving to Houston, Texas where she attended Royal Beauty Careers. After a few years, she wanted to travel and realized her education could take her anywhere. She became licensed in Tennessee, Colorado, and finally Michigan where she decided to stay to be close to family and friends. After years of working with some of the best in the industry, she is excited to bring all she has learned back to Northern Michigan.
Lisa Cannon
Master Stylist, Color Specialist
- Lisa came to our salon from the Chicago area and has more than 25 years experience as a hairstylist. She previously owned her own salon and spa, where she operated as a hairdresser and an educator. Her extensive training in the beauty industry allows her to stay on top of current trends and gives her the ability to provide clients with customized services using the latest techniques. She specializes in hair design, including cuts, color, and permanent waving.
Amanda Kilborn
Massage Therapist, Esthetician
- Amanda has been in the spa industry for over 20 years. She started her career in 1999 as a Massage Therapist after graduating from the Ann Arbor Institute of Massage Therapy. Shortly after, she continued her education and became an Aesthetician. In 2005, Amanda attended the Douglas J. Aveda Institute in Ann Arbor, where she obtained her cosmetology license. In 2010, she received a certification as a Laser Safety Officer at the Laser Institute of Arizona. Throughout her career, Amanda has had the opportunity to work in some very well-known day spas and medial practices, giving her the opportunity to learn and master several massage techniques and skin-care regimens.
Dina Zurawski
Master Stylist
- Dina is a Master Stylists with over 30 years of experience. Her specialties include cuts, color, facials, waxing, and pedicures.
Kristy Morrison
Customer Service Specialist
- After attending college and specializing in business management, Kristy worked in the health care industry for 15 years. In 2014, she relocated to Elk Rapids and began exploring the beauty market. After accepting a position at a locally owned salon and spa, she quickly realized how much she enjoyed working in the community and how rewarding it was to see clients truly enjoy their experiences.
- As a Customer Service Specialist, Kristy is available to assist with appointment scheduling, service and pricing questions, product information, purchases, job inquires, and addressing any concerns clients may have.
